Apprenticeship Opportunities

Before I received my license to practice Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, I completed a four-year Masters program in addition to six years of apprenticeship. I was lucky, persistent and committed to learning everything I could about Integrative Medicine. I would not be the practitioner I am today, if not for the generosity of my teachers.

It is because of this experience that a large part of my practice includes teaching. Whether in Masters and Doctoral programs or in my clinic, passing on the traditions of this amazing medicine has been very important to me. Over the last ten years I have had teenagers, licensed acupuncturists, and everyone in between learn from me in my clinic. However, this diverse group had some very important commonalities:

  1. They understood the traditional student-teacher relationship.
  2. They accepted that they may observe treatments ONLY if patients are comfortable with their presence.
  3. They were honored to be a part of my patient’s health care and experience at the clinic.
  4. They were on time and dependable.
  5. They gave at least a six month commitment.
  6. They complied with HIPPA confidentially guidelines and signed an agreement to uphold them.

I have a very busy practice. The right person can be a tremendous help to me and my patients, while gaining priceless experience. If you have a passion to learn about Integrative Medicine, call my office or email dr.rozennscheduling@cedarstreetclinic.com. We will set up a time for you to learn how my practice works, how you can be of assistance and what you can expect if you are accepted as a student.
