Chinese Abdominal Massage
“Internal Organ Qi Transformation”
An Essential Therapy For:
- Painful Periods
- Male and Female Infertility
- Digestive Problems/Inability to Loose Weight
- Physical & Emotional Detoxification
Chi Nei Tsang is an ancient form of abdominal massage that blends Chinese and Thai massage techniques to transform the energy of the internal organs, and maintain radiant health. The Taoist sages of ancient China observed that our abdomen is the center of the body’s vital functions and when obstructed, the circulation to internal organs suffers. We can develop blockages from negative emotions, overwork, stress, accidents, surgery, drugs, toxins, poor food, and bad posture. These blockages can cause physical tangling and knotting of the nerves, blood vessels, and lymph nodes. The result is the gradual obstruction of energy circulation, which may lead to any number of maladies including, but not limited to: indigestion, constipation, bloating, insomnia, whole body toxicity, poor skin quality, and an inability to lose weight.
- Detoxification: increases blood and lymphatic circulation to the abdomen. Improves elimination and strengthens the immune system’s resistance to diseases.
- Strengthen: allows for proper alignment through correcting postural problems, which can result from visceral imbalances and congestion in the abdominal fascia.
- Process: unresolved emotions. Poor emotional digestion is one for the main reasons for ill health.
Chi Nei Tsang may be combined with an acupuncture treatment to support and improve acupuncture results. It can also be used as a sole therapeutic modality. Sessions are typically done in a series of five massages over a five-week period, then results are evaluated and the treatment plan reassessed.
